- A tip of the hat to those Republicans who made a difference in Florida's election.

A lot of people make up a political campaign; candidates, party officials, the media, etc. These are all important but it is at the grassroots level where people shine and make a difference. Tampa Bay is no exception, and during the recent presidential campaign many people stepped up to the plate and made a difference. Too often these people are overlooked, but as for me, I just want to take a moment and thank the following people for making the Florida election a success for Republicans. These are people from my neck of the woods who took on a responsibility and ran with it. I am going to mention them in alphabetical order as they all did a remarkable job.

Sandy Bryant - attended numerous Republican meetings and Trump Rallies. If I wanted to know when or where a political event was being held, I just contacted Sandy as I knew she would be there as well. A very generous, hard-working and kind-hearted lady who was always ready to pitch in and help. She appeared at so many events I began to believe she had a twin sister.

Brian Burns - Publisher of the Tampa Free Press, a new daily digital newspaper. He runs the most fair and balanced newspaper in the Tampa Bay area. I encourage more people to subscribe to it.

Matt English - from Palm Harbor, this conservative could be counted on to stoke the conservative fires on social media, and attend Trump flag rallies.

Chris Ingram - an old media friend and confidant from Tampa who kept a fire under the politicians of Hillsborough County, quite often with a sense of levity. Great guy to boot.

Leo Karruli - owner of Leo's Italian Grill on US19 in Palm Harbor. He generously assisted many Republican candidates and groups at his facility. It was also one of the best places to post a GOP sign in the area. Great family and great food as well.

John Keller - a retired postman who worked tirelessly to help GOP candidates with petitions, campaigning for Republicans, and actively worked the North Pinellas Republican Campaign Office. He is a man who quietly went about his business and simply did it well.

Willie Lawson - a podcaster from Tampa who runs "The Morning Report" featuring political news and analysis. You could always count on Willie for straight, no-nonsense insight of the latest events. I was glad he was on our side.

Kevin Leonard - Publisher of Senior Voice America, a monthly newspaper for seniors in the Tampa Bay area. Kevin was a staunch supporter who you could depend on to get the word out to senior citizens.

Pam McAloon - I have had the pleasure of knowing Pam and her husband for several years now. Great people. I like to describe Pam as the "Energizer Bunny" of our area. Not only was she the Vice President of the Pinellas Republican Executive Committee, but also helped start the Pinellas Federated Republican Women's Club. She knows all of the key political people in the area and has a knack for making things happen. A very determined and resourceful lady.

Helena Nunn - another trusted friend from Palm Harbor. Helena's forte was to locate and publish real news, and weed out the "fake," thereby providing a reliable source of information. She did this on Facebook with "Ask Helena" and was the News Editor for "TBCtampa.com," a local web page for Tampa Bay Conservatives. If Helena brought a story to your attention, you could take it to the bank.

Ron Ogden - founded the North Pinellas Republican Campaign Office. Whereas most GOP activity was in south county, Ron opened an office for those of us in the north. As such, it was a clearinghouse for much needed political signs and for calling local voters. His ideas for running it were very ambitious and creative.

Mark Phillips - also from Palm Harbor, Mark worked quietly behind the scenes supporting campaigns and candidates through careful investigation of key issues. His enthusiasm and curiosity seemed to have no bounds. He's just a great guy to have on your team to help get things done.

Dr. Richard Swier - publisher and editor of what I consider the best political e-zine, not just in Tampa Bay, but in Florida, and maybe all of America. His publication enjoys a huge following. More importantly, he offers great political insight. If you haven't been to his web site, you are missing out on some great content.

J.W. Stratton - founder and president of the Tampa Bay Trump Club, perhaps the largest Trump group in the state. Not only does he organize speakers for the event, but collects donations for local charities. His enthusiasm and energy is inspirational.

Penny Lee Todd - last, but certainly not least, Penny was the go-to gal for Trump flag rallies in north county. She tirelessly organized them, ran them, and promoted them afterwards, thereby recruiting more people for the cause. Waving flags may not sound exciting, but it does express the peoples' support for the candidates. Doing a first class job, as Penny did, helped immeasurably.
 

These are extraordinary people. As you can see, they served in a variety of capacities. If you were to ask them, "Was it a lot of work or difficult to perform?," they would probably say it was a labor of love. They genuinely seemed to enjoy what they were doing and did it well. They were not looking for personal accolades, they just wanted to help the cause. To me, they are the true unsung heroes of the campaign.

Some time ago, I wrote a column titled, "Do Just One Thing." Basically, this is derived from Billy Crystal’s movie, "City Slickers," whereby Curley (Jack Palance) tells Billy’s character the meaning of life involves "Just One Thing" which we must all figure out for ourselves. In terms of nonprofit organizations, I think I have an answer:

If all members did "Just One Thing" for their club, it would be a better place. I am not suggesting we do anything extremely labor intensive; perhaps it is something as simple as being a greeter at the door, preparing name tags, attending a meeting or social function, helping to write letters, or just helping out in some simple way. If we all did "Just One Thing," the institution overall would flourish. Imagine what would happen if we had an army of people like the fifteen mentioned above.

Such people represent the backbone of any nonprofit group. They assumed responsibility, gave generously of themselves, and saw things through to completion. Too often we take such people for granted. I for one, do not. I relish them.

I therefore want to salute them for their efforts and offer a sincere and most appreciated, "Thank you."

Obviously, there were many others who participated, and I'm sure I am overlooking some important people. To all of you who participated, thanks. You are appreciated and deserve accolades. We couldn't have done it without you.

WHEN NOBODY CARES

 BRYCE ON LIFE

I was recently scanning the obituaries of the local newspaper and came upon a listing of someone I knew but hadn't seen in awhile; it read:

(DOE, JOHN)
83, of Safety Harbor, died September 12, 2020. No family has come forward at this time. Call 727-XXX-XXXX

(Out of respect for the deceased, I'll call him "John Doe.")

The obit was brief and, frankly, I thought rather sad. I had known this gentleman for about ten years as a friend of a friend. I called the funeral home to ask if they could tell me what happened. Frankly, they didn't know much about the cause of death and declined to comment on it. They said if nobody from the family came forward, they would cremate the body and spread his ashes out at sea with the county picking up the tab.

It is sad nobody came forward but I really wasn't surprised. This was a man who had been married and divorced three times, and had daughters and grandchildren living out West who frankly never wanted anything to do with him. I do not know what happened, but the fact he couldn't make a single marriage work and his family avoided contact with him, speaks volumes about his character.

My personal observation of him was that he was self-centered. Whenever there was a social function, such as a dinner or party, he would come, eat and drink, and pretty much kept to himself. I cannot remember him ever having a kind word or compliment to someone else. If anything, he was jealous of the success of others and felt that life had dealt him a bad hand. I also cannot remember him telling any form of joke, clever anecdote, or witticism, just doom and gloom.

I also could not remember a time when he put himself out for others such as performing some volunteer work, unless there was something in it for him personally. He also didn't belong to any clubs or group activities requiring socialization skills. The one exception was he performed some Bible readings at his church, but this came to an abrupt halt a couple of years ago. All I could make out was that he felt God and his church had deserted him.

His only passion towards the end was Scotch whiskey and cigarettes.

I have not known too many people like this over the years, except for one other I knew in Buffalo, New York who basically had the same mode of operation. He had a dark and cloudy outlook on life, hated to assume any responsibility, jealous of others, and his relation with his family had deteriorated to the point they didn't want anything to do with him.

Perhaps you have run into such a person yourself. As for me, I do not understand why this occurs. I suspect they consider themselves failures and possess little self-respect. It may be their socialization skills prevented them from having any meaningful relationship with others, and as they grew older they withdrew into a world of self-pity where the only comfort they could find was in a bottle of alcohol. Their unhappiness only got worse with age. This brings up a point, it seems alcohol stokes the fire of their rage making them lash out at others as opposed to becoming happily tipsy.

I don't see this as narcissism, just a very dark outlook on life. Whatever the reason, it is sad to watch someone go down this road into oblivion without anyone shedding a tear for them. It seems like such a waste of life. What a pity. Nonetheless, they've made their bed over a number of years and now must sleep in it. I do not believe it would come to this if they were just a little more positive and possessed some social skills. And now, with his demise, people treat him like a man who never was. Sad.

IT'S SHOW TIME 2020!

- Finally, it's election day.

Put the signs, the flags, and the hate away, it is finally time to make a decision; it is election day. Many of you have already voted by absentee ballot and early-voting, which is to be commended, but understand this, the lion's share of votes will come today. Out of a population of 331 million citizens, less than half will vote in the 2020 election. Estimates show a record high 150 million citizens will vote. As I recently reported, the candidates will end up spending another record of $11 Billion in campaigning, thereby assuring the media continues to grow unabated. At this rate, the candidates are spending approximately $73 on each voter.

If you do not know who or what you are voting for, please do us all a favor and stay home. It means you have buried your head in the sand and do not know what is truly going on. Actually, there is no real excuse for not voting as it is your civic duty to do so. It is the least we can do to help this country work properly. Recently, I have heard Millennials complain their vote doesn't matter and, as such, they will not vote. Interestingly, I hear members of Generation Z (the group following the Millennials) say just the opposite; this is the group who will be voting for the first time today.

One thing I find abhorrent is voter fraud. I have no patience for this. To those who claim, "All is fair in love and war," get out, there is no place for such shenanigans. Consequently, it is also our duty as law-abiding citizens to report anything suspicious to the board of elections. In other words, when you vote, be on your toes and make sure your vote is properly counted.

Let me be perfectly clear on something, it is not up to me or someone else to tell you how to vote. It is up to your individual conscious; your intelligence, your morality, your sense of right and wrong. In other words, voting is not a game, it ultimately is an expression of your values. I know how I would like you to vote, but you must come to this conclusion on your own, and as I said, if you do not know what you are doing or are uncomfortable in answering such important questions, don't vote. It is too important to take frivolously.

For those of you concerned about the Electoral College superseding the popular vote, understand this, the college was created to assure the interests of rural America are equally considered on the same level as urban America. If it wasn't for the Electoral College, candidates would only pander to the interests of major cities and ignore everyone else. That is not an opinion, it is a fact. The Electoral College is one of the most brilliant inventions by our founding fathers.

Finally, to the winners and losers, be magnanimous in victory and cordial in defeat. Let's compare this to another time. In the U.S. Senate race of 1855, Abraham Lincoln lost in Illinois to Lyman Trumbull. It was a tough race and even though Lincoln lost he was determined not to express any hard feelings over the matter. Instead, he surprised people by showing up at Trumbull's victory party and offered him a smile and a warm handshake. Such magnanimity did not go unnoticed, nor was it forgotten. Trumbull and his confidants helped Lincoln in his bid for the Senate in 1858 and later on in his run for the presidency in 1860. The point is, instead of losing friends over a defeat, Lincoln actually made friends of his opponents.

I doubt Lincoln’s act of magnanimity would play in Peoria today. Instead we are more inclined to be more visceral in acknowledging defeat. This could be due to the adverse effects of today’s technology and our lagging socialization skills, or because of our incompatible ideologies. Nonetheless, imagine the effect if the losers of the elections would do as Lincoln and offer a sincere handshake of congratulations, in person. A simple act like a handshake could go a long way to repairing the divide in our country.

Some might argue Lincoln lived in a simpler time which was much less contentious than today. Really? I wonder if anyone remembers the viciousness of the Missouri Compromise and the other acts leading to the American Civil War, perhaps the darkest chapter of our history.

In his famous speech of 1858, Lincoln warned, "A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government cannot endure, permanently half slave and half free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved – I do not expect the house to fall – but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing or all the other."

Lincoln’s speech is as prophetic today as it was then. Interestingly, he seemed to understand the issue of the day posed a significant threat to the Constitution, which is also on the minds of a lot of people today. Even though his talk was well remembered, it wasn’t considered politically correct and may have cost him the Senate race (losing to Stephen Douglas). So, are we really any different than yesteryear? Hardly. If anything, we are chillingly similar.

Best of luck on election day. Vote with a clear head and a warm heart.

Oh, by the way, tomorrow you can start picking up all of those ghastly political signs around your neighborhood.

AS FLORIDA GOES, SO GOES THE COUNTRY

It's time for me to announce my prediction for the 2020 presidential election. I was right on the money in 2016 and in 2018 for the mid-term elections, and I did it without the aid of the polls which, as I discovered, are totally useless. Instead, I rely on the voting data received from the Florida Board of Elections which routinely updates their numbers, thereby providing me with the means to study trends. Let me show you how I did it.

Before I begin, please remember in 2016 the Republicans won in Florida under the category of Vote-by-Mail (aka, "Absentee"), the Democrats won the Early-Voting, and the Republicans won the Election Day votes. Things didn't work out quite this way in 2020, which I will explain, but suffice it to say more people will have voted in all three categories in Florida this year than in 2016 (which also set a record at the time).

In 2020, the Democrats started well by running away with the Vote-by-Mail ballots. In fact, this was their preferred voting venue. Two reasons for this, first; the Democrats had an aggressive campaign to get people to vote by mail, and second; Republicans were scared their ballot would be lost or misappropriated and, as such, opted to vote in person instead. Nonetheless, the Democrats built an early lead based on the Vote-by-Mail ballots which became difficult for the Republicans to overcome.

Early-Voting started one week later and lasted two weeks (it will close this Sunday). The Republicans seized on this and never relinquished the lead in this category. In the Tampa Bay metro area alone, all of the counties were dominated by the Republicans, including Hillsborough, a Democrat stronghold. Then, slowly but surely, the Republicans took control of the total votes. As we approach election day next week, the Republicans will find themselves in the lead, and will likely turn out in record numbers on election day (as they have done historically). In contrast, the Democrats voted early through Vote-by-Mail. Prior to election day, well over 50% of the registered Democrats had voted. Normally, only 66% of registered Democrats vote overall, but even if they get to the 70% or 75% plateau on election day, it will not be enough to stop the Republican tsunami at the voting booth. As an aside, 75% of registered Republicans typically vote in a presidential election, but I suspect this number will go higher this year.

One other note worth mentioning, independent voters also flexed their muscle in Florida's elections, setting another voting record. In 2016, Independents helped carry Mr. Trump across the finish line. I cannot help but believe they will do likewise in 2020 as many are disturbed by the violence and mayhem in Democrat controlled cities. Even if it is a 50/50 split, it will be good for Republicans.

In the final analysis, unless there is some massive voter fraud, President Donald Trump is going to win re-election. From the data I have seen, he will win Florida handily, and as Florida goes, so goes the country (as evidenced by the 2016 election).

The key to all of this is the enthusiasm of the voters, pitting the Silent Majority against the "Haters." I say the "Haters" as I do not truly believe they embrace their candidate, former VP Joe Biden, as much as they hate President Trump. In contrast, the Silent Majority is a movement of people who openly support the president and demonstrated in his favor at numerous Flag rallies, Automobile rallies, and Boat rallies, the largest of which was over 2,000 in nearby Clearwater, Florida, thereby setting a world record. This was all done at the grassroots level by volunteers. Here in Florida, there were some occasional flag rallies for Mr. Biden, but I learned many people were paid to wave Biden signs and flags, just the antithesis of the Trump supporters. This is when I knew President Trump was going to win as he possessed the true support of the people.

I also call the Biden supporters "Haters" as I have personally seen members of their group yell and scream obscenities at Trump supporters unprovoked. It is crude and offensive to a lot of people, particularly children. Unfortunately, I witnessed this too many times. The Democrats like to portray President Trump as the "Divider-in-Chief," but in reality, it is their own party imbued in hate. They are simply classless.

I also find it disturbing to see so many Trump signs and flags defaced or stolen. When was the last time you saw a Biden sign stolen? No, I cannot think of an instance either. Unfortunately, the "Haters" believe this is morally acceptable to do.

We also see signs of the Silent Majority at Trump Rallies featuring the president, where thousands of people attend and cling to his words. Contrast this to the few Biden Rallies which are sparsely attended.

As in 2016, the polls were dead wrong. Once again they will be embarrassed by the elections. How can anyone take them seriously? I, for one, do not, which is why I rely on actual voter data instead. The numbers I use are real. The numbers the polls use are fake and produce fallacious results. Further, the Main Stream Media will also suffer another black eye in terms of credibility as they have obviously become nothing more than shills for the DNC.

Bottom-line: Just as in 2016, the Democrats will be crying come election night.

As an aside, just because I can confidently call the race here doesn't mean the race is over. Instead, I encourage everyone to get out the vote, regardless of your political persuasion.

Finally, let me be the first to say, "Congratulations President Trump."

AND THE WINNER IS..

 BRYCE ON POLITICS

You might be interested to know, the winner of the 2020 presidential race will not be one of the declared candidates, but rather the news media. It doesn't seem that long ago we had our first $1 Billion campaign, shocking everyone, but we are now well past this point. In fact, according to Opensecrets.org, which tracks campaign donations, 2020 will likely end up costing a whopping $11 Billion, thereby smashing all prior records, the last being 2016 where candidates spent up to $6.5 Billion. In the presidential campaigns alone, Opensecrets estimates approximately $5.2 Billion will have been spent, easily beating the 2008 election record of $2.8 Billion.

No matter how you slice it, it is an obscene amount of money to elect our government officials. Shouldn't we be spending this money on something more useful?

Two reasons for the dramatic increase; first, the Democrats' desperate attempt to re-take the White House and Congress (forcing the Republicans to respond in kind), and; Two, the COVID-19 pandemic contributed to the uptick. Because people felt house-bound, the candidates were impelled to reach out to voters through television, radio, Internet, print publications, and direct mail. Not surprising, Democrats are outspending Republicans considerably.

In this country, political campaigns fuel the media. Without such campaigns, the media would be crippled, and this is really what I want to discuss. Trust in journalism in this country continues to abate. According to a 2019 Gallup Poll, trust in the mass media has fallen from a high of 68% in 1972 to 41% in 2019 (I suspect it is even lower today). More and more people are going elsewhere for information rather than trusting the "Fake News." It is a sad day when we trust social media over trained journalists, but such are the times we live in. In other words, despite the billions made by the Media Industrial Complex, the American public doesn't feel they are getting their money's worth.

The animosity dividing the country is less due to ideology, and more attributed to the main stream media. Instead of honest journalism in this country, we are offered up a plate of intrigue and anger by the media, which divides the country further. Consider this, put two groups of people in two separate rooms, one with news (with whatever form of media you prefer), and one without. The group exposed to the news will likely show signs of angst and frustration, the other will not.

Also, consider network news such as CNN, Fox, and MSNBC would likely be gone if it wasn't for the money they receive from elections. So, it is in their best interests to "stir the pot" and keep their audiences on edge. By doing so, they develop addicts who tune in to get their daily fix of anger.

This is why I have long touted the need for electoral reform. The fact we find ourselves in a constant election cycle is not healthy for the candidates or the country. Our process is way too long and should be shortened radically, such as to 60 or 90 days, as is done in other countries. By doing so, politicians no longer have to be obsessed with canvassing for campaign donations and spend more time serving their constituents (which is why we elected them in the first place). It would also finally put some of these "Fake News" hacks out to pasture.

Don't like shortening the cycle? How about for every dollar paid to the media, another dollar must be paid to a special fund for improving our infrastructure. This should cause politicians to rethink their campaign finances and, at the same time, would do some good for the country.

Just remember, the news media is the real winner of elections, not politicians. With the passing of each election, the news media becomes more massive and uncontrollable. It is long overdue for us to tame the beast that is dividing us.

WHAT IT MEANS TO VOTE FOR JOE BIDEN

I'm trying to figure out why people will vote for former VP Joe Biden in the November presidential election. Certainly, many will vote due to their loyalty to the Democrat party, or perhaps they believe the spin of the Main Stream Media. Some will vote for Mr. Biden simply because they despise Donald Trump. Am I getting warm?

First and foremost, by voting for Joe Biden you believe he is mentally and physically fit to lead the nation. Let us not forget, in 1988 Mr. Biden suffered two brain aneurysms. Today his mental acuity is in question. If elected, he will be the oldest president to serve office. Let us also not forget the long list of his verbal gaffs which have become legendary. Nonetheless, you do not see a problem.

Beyond this, what else does it represent? It means you are willing to overlook the indiscretions of the Biden family and either deem them frivolous or blame the Republicans for the accusations, e.g.; Benghazi, the Russia Hoax, son Hunter's business dealings in the Ukraine and China, Mr. Biden's knack for plagiarism and exaggeration, and his "touchy-feely" approach to women.

Mr. Biden has served a long time in government, 47 years as senator from Delaware, and eight years as Vice President. His accomplishments during this time is less than stellar. Perhaps his crowning achievement as a senator was helping to pass the Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act in 1994 (which is unpopular with blacks today), and the Violence Against Women Act (also 1994). As head of the Senate's Judiciary committee he oversaw six Supreme Court confirmation hearings, most notably Robert Bork (who was defeated) and Clarence Thomas, which became a three-ring circus (the first of many by the Democrats). As VP, we would be remiss if we didn't mention the Benghhazi tragedy.

Nonetheless, voting for Mr. Biden means you were satisfied with the policies of the Obama administration, as Mr. Biden will likely perpetuate this agenda. It also means...

* You believe the economy is in shambles and unemployment is sky high (even though it is currently at 7.9%).

* You believe charter schools are bad for children, public schools are better.

* You believe murderers and violent offenders should have the right to vote, as well as illegal immigrants.

* You believe there should be higher taxes, particularly for the "1%." This means you believe in a redistribution of the wealth in this country, and by doing so, you believe Socialism should supersede Capitalism.

* You believe government should become more invasive in controlling the lives of the people, after all, they are not smart enough to know what is best.

* You believe there should be more entitlements, such as free college, free housing, free everything, etc. This includes illegal immigrants.

* You believe the New Green Deal is a great idea and should be implemented ASAP (regardless of the cost).

* You believe the 2nd amendment should be repealed regarding the right to bear arms.

* You believe there is no problem with open borders, and construction of the Southern wall should cease immediately.

* You believe in diverting financial resources away from the military and space exploration, and transferring it to other priorities.

* You believe expanding and packing the Supreme Court with liberal justices is a reasonable way to promote the Democrat agenda.

* You believe the electoral college should be abolished and the popular vote should be the sole method for electing the president. By doing so, you believe urban America should have a greater voice in elections than rural America.

* You believe racism is rampant in this country.

* You believe there is little crime in Democrat-controlled urban areas.

* You believe the country should bail out faltering economies in Democrat controlled states, such as California, New York, Massachusetts, and Illinois.

* You believe law enforcement is inherently evil and should be reduced.

* You believe fracking and cultivating fossil fuels should be curbed immediately.

Obviously, this list could be much longer, but such a set of beliefs speaks volumes about your moral values and interpretation of what America means.

In all likelihood, you believe the main stream media is unbiased, fair and accurate in their reporting, as are polls and fact checkers. Further, you consider the social mores of today antiquated and in need of change. It is also likely you believe the political system is not rigged, particularly the Democrat Party. If I were to bet, you also probably have a weak sense of American history and are inclined to see historical monuments defaced or destroyed.

However, if you happen to vote for Donald Trump, you are refuting these beliefs. You also believe the politicians, lobbyists, and journalists are corrupt, and are more concerned with lining their pockets with money as opposed to serving the public.

So, our choice is simple: We either perpetuate the Obama legacy or vote to dismember the Washington Swamp. It's not a matter of a particular person, it's a matter of our perspective on government.

WHY I’M VOTING FOR DONALD TRUMP, PART 2

- I'm still mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore!

Four years ago, almost to the day, I wrote a similar column where I explained my reasons for supporting Donald Trump for president. In re-reading the article, I believe I was right on the money, but now it is four years later and I want to explain why I support the president in his bid for re-election.

In my 2016 piece, the first area I described was how the country was experiencing a myriad of problems, including the economy, immigration, security, jobs, trade, energy, morality, the military, a bureaucratic government inhibiting business, and much more. All of this is being effectively addressed by the president which he should be commended for, not chastised and berated. Today though, we could add to the list with things such as government gridlock, violence in the streets of our Democrat controlled inner cities, and attacks on law enforcement. This is precisely what we face going into the November elections. You either think a problem exists or acting like a lunatic is now an acceptable form of behavior. I, for one, do not.

Interestingly, I also mentioned in the 2016 piece, "We are also moving dangerously closer to socialism and away from capitalism..." Very prophetic.

The second point I mentioned was that Mr. Trump was neither a community organizer or professional politician, but a businessman who understands competition and possesses such skills as negotiation, risk management, managing by objectives, finance, labor relations, human resources, recruiting, project management, and other related skills. These talents have proven effective in developing the economy, rescuing our military and VA, and negotiating trade deals, particularly the USMCA.

Third, I mentioned it was time to take back America from the professional politicians, aka, "The Swamp," and this is where most of the angst against the president originates from. Frankly, the Democrats, the RINOs, and bureaucrats of Washington, DC are scared to death of him and are still hell-bent on his destruction. Fortunately, the American patriots are still behind him and will likely sweep him back into office.

Today though, I want to add a fourth reason for voting for him, and that is the president has delivered on his campaign promises, implementing policies stalled by other presidents, such as:

* Opening the Jerusalem Embassy.

* Signing Middle East Peace Treaties.

* Crushing ISIS.

* Building the southern border wall and curbing illegal immigration.

* Implementing energy independence.

* Reinvigorating the military and VA.

* Energizing our economy and helping to create jobs for everyone, particularly minorities.

* Implementing tax cuts for the citizens.

* Nominating three Supreme Court justices and hundreds of federal judges. This means, win or lose, we'll feel the effect of President Trump for many years afterwards.

All of this in spite of the Mueller Witch Hunt, the Russia Hoax, the Impeachment Hoax, and Fake News. His fortitude and ability to stand up to the House of Representatives and the Main Stream Media is truly admirable and should be assimilated by others.

What I find most fascinating with this president is that he is unafraid to make the tough decisions. Whereas other presidents would ignore nagging problems and bury them under the carpet, President Trump is not afraid to tackle the issues. It is this results orientation I particularly admire, and why I will be voting for him again. His no-nonsense business acumen is precisely what we need right now. In addition to his toughness and genius, he has shown genuine empathy for the American people time and time again.

In my 2016 article, I also mentioned the 1976 movie, "Network," where the anchorman, played by Peter Finch, goes on camera to encourage people to say, "I'm as mad as hell, and I'm not going to take this anymore!" After watching the summer of hate, gridlock in the Congress, and the Democrats hell-bent on the overthrow of the presidency, I too am mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore, but unlike the Democrats who spurn law and order, I'm going to make my voice heard at my election precinct.
